Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Thursday said that teachers should act with a sense of responsibility and open the doors of knowledge for students through effective teaching.
He said that it should be remembered that if students achieve good results in exams and become responsible human beings, it will be a matter of pride for teachers, as teachers are responsible for shaping the next generation. In addition to quality teaching along with textbooks in line with the times, emphasis should be placed on the use of technology in teaching.
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said this at a function for distributing appointment letters to postgraduate teachers, organized by the School Education Department at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan on Thursday.
Today, 865 postgraduates were given appointment letters for teaching posts. The Chief Minister officially handed over appointment letters to 34 people.
He said at the function that the state government is trying to fill vacancies in various departments quickly.
“Besides, by creating new posts in various departments, educated unemployed people are being given jobs with transparency. Currently, no one needs to bring recommendations for jobs. Jobs are being given according to qualifications. The educated unemployed youth of the state are getting the results of their talent and hard work. The government has also adopted a transparent policy in job appointments. Just as the state government is developing various infrastructures with transparency and proper planning, it is also continuing the recruitment process,” he said.
Dr Saha said that the government wants to win the hearts of the people of the state by working with transparency.
“Teachers should understand the mentality of students, build a good relationship with them, and teach them effectively. Along with this, a good environment should also be created in educational institutions. One of the goals of the state government is the expansion of quality education. The government has been recruiting teachers in the schools of the state along with developing various infrastructure in the field of education,” he said.
