Pradyot releases poll manifesto with bunch of assurances
Soon after returning to Agartala after treatment, Tipra-Motha chief Pradyot Kishore Debbarma in presence of the senior leaders of the party has released their poll manifesto with assurance of fulfillment of special 15 points within 150 days if the party voted to power.
Addressing a press conference here at Rajbari on Saturday evening, Pradyot with Bijoy Kumar Hranghkhwal and Jagadish Debbarma said that Tipra-Motha is fully committed to their core-ideology demand of a permanent constitutional solution for the indigenous people of Tripura, until it is not achieved.
Pradyot said that among the 15 missions for 150 days time to fulfill , after the formation of the Motha government will form a public grievance redressal unit under the Chief Minister’s secretariat. The empowerment of ADC will be fulfilled by increasing the budget allocation and fulfillment of all long pending demands of the council administration.
He said that land patta will be allotted to all ,who have been deprived for decades and 20,000 new job and employment opportunities in the government sector as well as in the private sector.
Highlighting other assurances of Motha, Pradyot said that bills in the state assembly to set up for world class centers of education like a tribal university, Sports University, Agriculture University and international Buddhist University. The elections for Village Committee will be conducted at the earliest and a resolution will be passed in the assembly against the CAA.
He said that if the Motha voted to power a collateral free education loan of upto Rs. 5 lakh for graduation and higher studies, advanced emergency medical services in every block, ambulance services in every village, alternative jobs for retrenched 10, 323 teachers.
He said that Motha will take holistic steps to attain zero poverty, zero hunger, zero violence, zero corruption and digital classes in every school. They will introduce door-step service delivery for government schemes, empowerment of women etc.
The Motha manifesto have also stressed on drug menaces and crime against women, new agriculture policy, fund for micro and small industries , massive infrastructure developmental drives, AIDs awareness campaign with opening of more drug rehabilitation centers , free 50 units of electricity, to control law and order 6000 new recruitment for ADC police, 100 PCR vans for highways, family health insurance for media persons with protection of freedom of press, 25,000 social pension for ‘Samajpati’ etc.
Pradyot Kishore on Saturday also denied to form any alliance with political parties like BJP, CPI(M) and Congress and said that they will contest the election with their own capacity in 42 seats, where Motha has fielded their candidates. He said that they will get good results in the February 16 assembly elections and fielded candidates from all communities.
Castigating the ruling BJP, Pradyot said that before 2018 BJP was nothing and they have got votes from Congress supporters and has also criticized the CPI(M) and Congress seat adjustment.
He also lambasted the comments made by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma over Motha and claimed that his party will definitely come to power.
He also said that formation of ‘Greater Tipraland’ is not in their hands, but if they voted to power they can be assured of greater autonomy for ADC.
