TBSE results: Madhyamik pass percentage 86.53 %, HS (+2) 79.29 %

The results of Madhyamik and Higher Secondary (HS+2), Madrassa Fazil Arts and Theology examination runs by Tripura Board of secondary Education (TBSE) declared on Wednesday, which has registered pass percentage of 86.53 % and 79.29 % respectively.
As announced earlier, TBSE’s president Dr Dhananjoy Gon Choudhury accompanied by secretary Dr Dulal Dey and other authorities addressing a press conference on Wednesday noon gave details of the abstract of the both examinations. Dr Gon Choudhury said that this is the first time the Board has announced the results of both examinations on the last day of April.
Altogether, 29,670 candidates appeared in the Madhyamik examinations from 1019 schools with 12.06 less percentage in comparison to candidates appeared in 2024, said Dr Gon Chaudhury and added that a total of 21,506 candidates appeared in the HS examinations and 15.16 less percentage.
He said that the board had completed its evaluation of answer scripts by April 22nd last and the board had successfully completed the evaluation process within a short period and published the results on April 30.
Among the total appeared candidates (29,670) in the Madhyamik examinations, altogether 25,673 candidates secured pass marks, which recorded the pass percentage of 86.53 % and in the HS examination, out of total appeared candidates 21,506 altogether 17.052 candidates secured pass marks and recorded pass percentage of 79.29%
In both Madhyamik and HS (+2) examinations there were more girl candidates than boy candidates with female and male ratio of 1140:1000 for Madhyamik and 1167:1000 for Higher Secondary, said Dr Gon Choudhury.
A total of 9464 students from Autonomous District Council (ADC) areas have appeared for Madhyamik examinations and among them 8,189 candidates secured pass marks. For Higher Secondary examinations 4,769 candidates appeared from ADC areas under three streams and altogether 4,584 candidates secured pass marks.
This year 345 schools across eight districts got cent percent pass marks in Madhyamik and 39 more schools in Higher Secondary examinations and in the HS examinations, 3 schools have also recovered zero percent pass. Among all eight districts, South Tripura district secured the highest pass percentage with 92.69 % and lowest pass percentage recorded by students of Khowai district with a pass percentage of 78.54 % in Madhyamik examinations.
Like previous years, this year also the students of Sepahijala Tripura district secured the highest pass percentage of 87.38 % in HS examinations and lowest pass percentage of 71.95 % obtained by the students of Khowai district.
Speaking with press meet Board secretary, Dr Dulal Dey said that marksheets for both examinations will be distributed in all schools before May 5th and candidates who want to review their results, will have to submit the application on May 7th to 9th next in their respective schools.
He also said that a special Madhyamik candidate from Kamalpur under Dhalai district secured pass marks, who has written his examinations through his foot.
All appeared students have accessed their board results through different websites after 30 minutes of official press meet of board results.
