Three Bangla youths arrested from Dharmanagar, suspected members of thief gang
Three Bangladesh nationals were arrested from Dharmanagar town under North Tripura district on Tuesday allegedly involved with the Tripura-Bangladesh gang of thieves.
Police sources said that based on specific inputs, three suspected youths , who were moving in the Dharmanagar town were detained by police.
During interrogation, police identified themselves as Manjurim, Rashid Ahemad and Mohammad Alim, who entered into the state's territory about a couple of months ago without any valid documents.
Police added that during preliminary interrogation, they revealed that they entered India without a passport and had involved different kinds of work. But, in reality police are looking for a few Bangladeshi, who were actively involved in many stolen incidents in North Tripura and other parts of the state.
While, police added that on Tuesday they were forwarded before a local court with police remand appeals for interrogation and to get details are they actually involved in any other crime in Tripura?
Police hoped that after interrogation, they would be able to find out their nexus in the state.
