Tripura is now well equipped for setting up all kind of industries, CM
The present state government has given its emphasis over commercialization of rubber based industries across the state, which is one of the vital points to strengthen the rural economy of the state, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
The Chief Minister on Wednesday inaugurated the newly set up of the third union Rubber thread plant by DS Group at Bodhjungnagar industrial area and said that after formation of BJP-IPFT government in the state many industries have been set up , which has increased employment opportunities for the state’s youths.
He said that the government had committed to expand more opportunities for employment generations for the state’s youth and the government is now taking every possible step to fulfill its commitment.
Dr Saha said that with the inauguration of such kinds of industries in Tripura, the benefit has been extended to the local people as well as industrialists as now the situation has been totally changed with a pro-industrial atmosphere across the state.
“There are days, where many industries were closed down due to agitation by unions in Tripura, but now the situation has been changed and now both working classes and industry owners are getting benefit of a good environment,” said Dr Saha.
He said to set up this rubber thread industry, a sum of Rs. 21 crore has been utilized and the produced rubber thread will be exported to neighbouring Bangladesh.
Appealing to the industrialists present in the inauguration ceremony, Dr Saha said that Tripura is now well equipped for setting up of all kind of industries as the communication systems including surface transport and airway connectivity has been developed in the state and soon the ‘Maitri’ bridge at Sabroom connecting India and Bangladesh will be opened for bilateral trade and commerce.
He hoped with initiatives of all sections of people, Tripura will definitely be the best state of the country in the coming days.
During the inauguration programme, local MLA and former Speaker Ratan Chakraborty, chairman of TIDC Nabadal Banik, special secretary of Industries and Commerce department Abhishek Chandra, senior manager of DS group Kiren Chandra Jena and MD of TIDC Bishwashree B were also present.
