Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar, whose decomposed body was recovered from Karachi flat, died 9 months ago: Report
Karachi/IBNS: Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar Ali, whose decomposed body was recovered from a flat in Karachi a few days ago, died nine months ago, Arab News reported.
She is believed to have died in October 2024 based on the digital and forensic evidence, the report said.
Karachi Police surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed after conducting the post-mortem had said Humaira's body was in an advanced state of decomposition.
Dr. Syed had said she died a month ago.
As per police probe, Humaira's phone log, social media interactions and interactions with neighbours do not suggest she was alive after October 2024.
She had last posted on Facebook and Instagram in September 2024.
The actress was staying in the flat on rent. Her remains were found in the flat at Ittehad Commercial Area of the city when a court bailiff arrived to vacate the place on Tuesday.
The bailiff broke open the door and discovered the decomposed body, police said.
Her body was sent to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal formalities.
The actress worked in ARY’s reality show Tamasha Ghar and played a role in the 2015 film Jalaibee.
