'Probably my last tweet before next arrest': Ex-Pak PM Imran Khan claims police surrounded his house
Islamabad/IBNS: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief and former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday claimed that police have surrounded his house as he addressed party workers via video link, in what he termed as his last speech before arrest.
Imran Khan was addressing PTI workers from his Zaman Park residence in Lahore on Wednesday evening.
In a tweet, the PTI chief said: "Probably my last tweet before my next arrest. Police has [sic] surrounded my house."

In his address, the ex-PM said that his party doesn’t want to pit the people against the army, but it is the desire of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
He lamented that it appeared that what happened in East Pakistan, which broke away to become Bangladesh, is “deliberately being repeated”.
“I am afraid today that Pakistan is on the route to destruction,” he said. “And I fear that if wisdom is not exercised today, we might reach a stage where we wouldn’t even be able to pick up the pieces.”
"I have defended my army across the world … I was a known face. Name another Pakistani who defended the army the way I did on international media.
“And I did it because I am a free man. I never accepted slavery.”
Imran Khan said that the treatment his supporters are receiving would only sow hatred.
He reiterated that the PTI never resorted to violence even when an assassination attempt was made on him.
According to Dawn, the Punjab police have reached outside Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence to arrest him.
The ex-premier’s residence has been cordoned off by police officials.
