Riyadh authorities arrested two Pakistani nationals over drug trafficking charges
The Criminal Investigation and Search Department of the Riyadh Region Police have arrested two Pakistani nationals over drug trafficking charges.
The suspects were reportedly using a residential unit as a base to distribute 13,000 narcotic tablets, reported Saudi Gazette.
The arrested individuals underwent legal procedures following their arrest and have been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
This is not the first time Pakistani nationals have been arrested over drug trafficking charges.
Last year in August, a Pakistani national was apprehended in Tabuk for dealing methamphetamine, while three Saudi citizens were detained for dealing amphetamine, reported Geo News.
