Slain Pakistani activist Hidayat Lohar's daughters lead protests against their father's death, Mahrang Baloch extends support
Pakistani activist Hidayat Lohar's daughters are leading protests in Sindh province in the country against the alleged killing of their father.
Extending her support to Sasui and Sorath, the two daughters of the slain activist, Baloch rights activist Mahrang Baloch wrote on X: "We stand in solidarity with the sit-in protest led by Sasui and Sorath against the extrajudicial killing of the prominent human rights activist, Hidayat Lohar. "

"I appeal to the UN Working Group to promptly investigate Lohar's murder and ensure justice for Sasui and Sorath," she said.
"I encourage people from all walks of life to join the sit-in and support Sasui and Sorath in their quest for justice," the activist said.
What happened to Lohar?
Unidentified gunmen recently shot dead human rights activist Hidayat Lohar in Sindh region of Pakistan.
Lohar's family told The Friday Times that he was the headmaster at a local school, Golu Gawans.
