US mother uses tracking app to catch her son having sex with teacher in car
A mother used a tracking app to catch her son having sex with her teacher in a car in US state of North Carolina, media reports said.
The unidentified parent had installed Life 360 on her son’s device — and grew suspicious after she was alerted to his absence from rugby practice, reported New York Post.
The app showed he was idling in a local park.
According to prosecutors, the mom drove to the park, where she reported seeing Cartaya-Neufeld and her son in a car having sex. She took photos of the car and license plate and then called police, reported WSOC.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said in a news release that Gabriela Neufeld was charged with felony Sexual Activity with a student by a teacher.
"On Wednesday, November 29, 2023, it was discovered that Ms. Neufeld, a teacher at South Mecklenburg High School, and an 18-year-old male student at South Mecklenburg High School had engaged in sexual activity in the 5300 block of Closeburn Road," the police said in a statement.
"Following an interview with CMPD detectives, Ms. Neufeld was transported to the Mecklenburg County Detention Center," the statement said.
Police said investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
