Actor Radhika Apte locked in aerobridge for hrs; no access to loo or water
Actor Radhika Apte Saturday recounted her ordeal at an airport where she and fellow passengers were locked in the aerobridge after a flight delay.
The actor did not mention the name of the city or the airline involved.
Through photos and videos shared on Instagram, the 'Sacred Games' star highlighted the situation where passengers were placed in the aerobridge and subsequently locked in by airline staff due to the delay.
"Today morning I had a flight at 8:30. It's 10:50 now and the flight has still not boarded. BUT the flight said we were boarding and put all the passengers in the aerobridge and LOCKED IT," she said.
"The passengers with small babies, elderly people have been locked in for over an hour. The security won't open the doors. The staff has ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE," she added.
Radhika Apte posted a video showing a group of people behind a locked glass door. The footage captured passengers speaking with security staff in the aerobridge.
The 38-year-old Bollywood actress recounted her experience, stating that the airline informed passengers that they would be confined for at least another hour.
"Now I'm locked inside. AND they just told us that we will be here till minimum 12 pm. All locked in. No water, no loo. Thanks for the fun ride," she expressed.
Apte mentioned that the airline staff said that the delay was caused due to a crew change, and the new staff had yet to arrive.
"Apparently, their crew hasn't boarded. The crew had to change, and they are still waiting for the new crew, but they have no idea when they will arrive, so no one knows how long they'll be locked inside. I managed to escape briefly to speak to the very stupid staff woman outside who kept saying there is no issue and no delay," she added.
In her recent projects, Radhika Apte was seen in a cameo appearance in the movie 'Merry Christmas,' with Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. She is well-known for her roles in productions such as Sacred Games, Shor In the City, Badlapur, Andhadhun, PadMan, and Manjhi - The Mountain Man.
