Border Security Force seizes 3 packets of heroin from Punjab border
Jalandhar: Border Security Force (BSF) recovered three packets of contraband suspected to be heroin from the wheat fields near the village Gandu Kilcha in Ferozepur district early Monday morning.
A spokesperson of the Punjab Frontier BSF headquarters here said during night domination operation of the area, the troops of the BSF found three packets weighing 1.6kg of contraband suspected to be heroin wrapped in yellow adhesive tape from the wheat fields in the area.
The value of the drugs seized is said to be Rs 8 crore in the international market.
