British woman tourist raped in Delhi hotel by man she befriended on social media
New Delhi/IBNS: A British woman tourist was allegedly raped by a Delhi man whom she had befriended on Instagram, media reports said.

The victim was also allegedly molested by the accused's accomplice. Both have been arrested.
As per police, Kailash, the rape accused, had connected with the London-based woman on Instagram.
The woman had contacted him when she was on tour to Maharashtra and Goa.
However, Kailash had asked the woman to come to Delhi as he was unable to travel.
When the woman came to Delhi, Kailash and his accomplice Wasim went to the hotel where she was staying.
The three had consumed alcohol and finished dinner before heading to the room of Mahipalpur hotel.
Kailash had allegedly forced himself on the woman. When she resisted, Kailash called Wasim to her room.
Police said Kailash was arrested on rape charge while Wasim was nabbed on the allegations of molestation.
