CAG report tabled in Delhi assembly, 15 AAP MLAs including LoP Atishi suspended in ruckus
New Delhi/IBNS: Triggering a fierce faceoff between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the report of Controller and Auditor General (CAG) was tabled in the Delhi assembly with the ruling party bringing corruption charges against former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The CAG report over the alleged liquor policy scam has been placed in the assembly.
AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia were among the AAP leaders who were arrested in the liquor policy scam case.
The other CAG report on Kejriwal's refurbishment of the CM's residence Sheesh Mahal is yet to be placed.
Kejriwal has been accused of spending an exorbitant money to refurbish the CM's residence during his tenure with luxury fittings.
Amid the ruckus over the CAG report, 15 AAP MLAs including former CM and current Leader of Opposition (LoP) Atishi were suspended by Speaker Vijender Gupta on Tuesday.
The BJP-AAP faceoff also occurred over the alleged removal of the portraits of Father of the Indian Constitution BR Ambedkar and revolutionary Bhagat Singh at CM's office and replacing them with the one of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The AAP protested against the removal of the portraits both inside and outside the house with "Jai Bhim" slogans and photos of BR Ambedkar.
"BJP has replaced the portrait of Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar with that of PM Modi in the CM office, cabinet ministers office...Is PM Modi bigger than Dr BR Ambedkar?... We will keep on protesting against it until the portrait of Dr BR Ambedkar is put in its place," said Atishi.
