Delhi court reserves judgement on Arvind Kejriwal's bail plea in liquor policy case
New Delhi/IBNS: A Delhi court on Thursday reserved its judgement on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's bail plea in the money laundering case linked to the alleged liquor policy scam, media reports said.
The court has also reserved its judgement on Kejriwal's plea seeking his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, be allowed to be present in the proceedings virtually when he gets examined by the medical board.
Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party supremo who was arrested on March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate, was given an interim bail in May for a brief period until June 2 for campaigning in the Lok Sabha polls.
He went back to the jail on June 2, the day next to the last phase poll date.
The central investigative agency asserts that the Chief Minister played a central role in the scam and was directly implicated in soliciting kickbacks from liquor barons.
