'Going to an address where I haven't lived for last 10 years is a waste of time': Kunal Kamra's dig at cops
Mumbai/IBNS: Popular stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra took a dig at the Mumbai Police on Monday, asking them not to "waste time" and "public resources" by visiting his parent's house where he has "not lived for the last 10 years" in connection with a case about his remarks against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

"Going to an address where I haven't lived for the last 10 Years is a waste of your time & public resources...," Kamra said on X.
Along with the post, he shared a photograph of himself standing at the balcony of an accommodation he is currently residing in.

His post came as a police team visited Kamra's parents' residence in Kataria Colony in Mumbai after the 36-year-old comedian failed to respond to two consecutive summons for a probe.
He was supposed to respond to the second summon and appear for questioning at 11 am on Monday.
On Friday, the Madras High Court granted Kamra interim pre-arrest bail till April 7 in the case.
He had told the court that he hails from Tamil Nadu's Villupuram district and feared arrest by the Mumbai cops.
According to Kamra's Instagram bio, he is currently residing in Puducherry.
What did Kamra say?
Kamra, who is best known for his outspoken nature, targeted Shinde during a comedy show by parodying the 1997 song 'Bholi Si Surat' from 'Dil To Pagal Hai'.
In an indirect sweep, Kamra referred to Shinde as a 'gaddar (traitor), referring to his rebellion against Uddhav Thackeray in 2022, an episode that led to the state government's collapse and the party's split.
Mumbai's Habitat Studio, a popular platform for stand-up comedians in the city, on Monday announced its decision to shut down after Shiv Sena (Shinde) workers vandalised it to protest against his remark.
