Jharkhand Government is the most corrupt in the country: Amit Shah
Deoghar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday termed the present Hemant Soren-led government of Jharkhand as the most corrupt in the country.
Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Rally here after laying the foundation stone for setting up a nano fertiliser plant in Jasidih Industrial Area, Shah said he would say without any hesitation that 'Hemant Babu' was running the most corrupt government in the country.
He said people had high hopes from the JMM-led government and expected it to meet their hopes and aspirations, but instead the present regime was busy indulging in corruption through tractors and railway wagons.
Continuing his attack, Shah said for vote bank politics the government in Jharkhand is also changing the demography of the state and is mum about the entry of illegal insurgents due to which the tribal and OBC population was on a decline in the state.
He said the Chief Minister is sitting with a smile and watching as the tribal population in Jharkhand has come down from 33 percent to 24 percent.
He said the Chief Minister even does not speak against the land loot in Santhal Pargana by the insurgents but the BJP and its workers will not sit silently as the party is of the view that Jharkhand will remain for those who truly belong to the state.
The Home Minister also expressed concern over the rise of Jamtara and Deoghar as Cybercrime hubs of the nation.
The Government of India tried to give all possible help to the Jharkhand Government to tackle the issue, but nothing went through the ears of the state regime.
He also questioned the intentions of the Jharkhand government in the Rubika Pahadin and Ankita Singh murder case.
He said the tribal women and girls are being subjected to atrocities in Santhal Pargana but the Jharkhand government is doing nothing.
