Kolkata bound Air Asia plane makes emergency landing after bird hit

Lucknow: A Kolkata-bound AirAsia flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Lucknow airport after a bird hit just a little while after take-off on Sunday, media reports said.
The airline was making arrangements to accommodate the passengers on another flight.
A similar incident occurred last year when an Akasa Air plane from Ahmedabad to New Delhi was grounded had to be grounded following a bird hit.
The airlines have to check and do maintenance after a bird hit.
In that incident, the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft suffered radome damage at 1900 feet.
