New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently on a three-nation tour,  wore a jacket made of recycled material at the G7 Summit on Sunday.

Recycled fabric is made by collecting used pet bottles and crushing and melting them and adding colour and producing yarn. This process cuts the emission drastically at various production levels, reports ANI.

Modi attended the G7 Summit in Hiroshima and met several key world leaders on the sidelines of the event.

Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi champions the principles of 'Waste to Wealth' & 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle' by wearing a jacket made from recycled plastic bottles during the G7 summit in Japan.
