Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tarik holds bilateral talks with Narendra Modi
Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, who is currently visiting India, on Saturday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and reviewed a bilateral relationship covering issues related to trade and defence.

"The leaders reviewed bilateral relationship covering the areas of political, security, defence, trade, economic, cultural and people to people ties," he said.
The two leaders also exchanged perspectives on regional and international issues.
The Omani leader is visiting the country at the invitation of President Droupadi Murmu.
He is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including senior Ministers and officials.
India and Oman share a longstanding history of friendship and cooperation, built on the foundation of mutual trust and respect, and strong people-to-people ties going back centuries, read a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs earlier.
India and the Sultanate of Oman are strategic partners and the bilateral trade and investment relationship between the two nations has flourished over the years.
