Bikaner/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday relaunched his attack on Pakistan in the backdrop of Operation Sindoor and reiterated that the hostile nation will be left to "beg for every last penny" if it continues to "export terrorism".

Addressing a rally in Bikaner, Rajasthan, Modi said India made it clear that Pakistan's military and economy will have to bear the cost for any terrorist attack.

"India has made it unequivocally clear that Pakistan will bear a heavy cost for every terrorist attack. This cost will be paid by Pakistan’s military and its economy. If Pakistan persists in exporting terrorism, it will find itself begging for every last penny," Modi, who virtually inaugurated 103 Armit Stations, said.

"Pakistan will not receive a single drop of water from India’s share. The days of playing with the blood of Indians are over – it will now come at a steep price," the Prime Minister said, clearing India's no change in the decision to snap the Indus Waters Treaty.

Reminding the people of the Operation Sindoor that avenged the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, the Prime Minister said, "Today, from the land of Rajasthan, I want to humbly tell the countrymen that those who had set out to wipe off the vermilion have been reduced to dust. Those who shed the blood of India have been accounted for every drop.

"Those who had thought that India would remain silent are hiding in their homes today. Those who were proud of their weapons are buried under a pile of rubble today."

Comparing India's response to the terrorist attacks in the times of his predecessors, the Prime Minister said, "Pakistan has forgotten one thing that now Modi, the servant of Mother India, is standing here with his head held high. Modi's mind is cool, it stays cool, but Modi's blood is hot. Now there is no blood flowing in Modi's veins, but hot vermillion."

Lauding the Indian Armed Forces, Modi said, "Rajasthan teaches us that nothing is more important than the nation. On April 22, terrorists targeted our people, asking their religion and wiped the sindoor of our sisters. The bullets fired in Pahalgam wounded the hearts of 140 crore Indians. In response, the entire nation vowed to punish the terrorists in a way they could never imagine.

"With the valour of our armed forces, Pakistan was forced to bow. In reply to the April 22 attack, within just 22 minutes, terrorist camps were destroyed. The country witnessed that when the sindoor of our sisters is targeted, the response can shake the enemy to its core."

Modi also made it clear that India will only engage in talks with Pakistan on PoK. "If talks are held, it will be only on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir," the Prime Minister said.

Operation Sindoor was a fierce military operation launched by the Indian Air Force (IAF) on May 7, in response to the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 tourists who were enjoying their vacation at Baisaran Valley, which is referred to as India's Switzerland.

The operation aimed to dismantle terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

After the Pakistan Army again targeted Indian civilians and resorted to cross-border firing, the Indian Armed Forces retaliated, destroying defence systems of the hostile neighbour.

On Pakistan's appeal, India responded with a ceasefire on May 10 but Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned of fresh retaliation if Islamabad goes astray.
