Suspected Maoists gun down a villager for destroying forest
Bhubaneswar: Suspected Maoists have shot dead a villager at Laxmanpur village in the Raighar region of Nabarangpur district on Friday on the charge of destroying forest.
Police identified the deceased as Narayan Nagesh .
Sources said Narayan was picked up from his home and later shot dead by the red rebels
A poster put up by the Manipur-Nuapada division committee of the outlawed outfit said Narayan was punished for destroying forest.
