USA: Indian-origin doctor Ramesh Babu Peramsetty shot dead in Tuscaloosa
An Indian-origin doctor was shot dead in the US city of Tuscaloosa on Friday.
The deceased medical practitioner was identified as Ramesh Babu Peramsetty.
He was 63.
Details about the incident is still not celar.
Dr Ramesh Babu Peramsetty was originally from Andhra Pradesh's Tirupati district.
The Indian-origin physician was reportedly one of the founders of a group of local medical professionals operating under the Crimson network.
Crimson Care team confirmed and condoled the death of the doctor by posting a statement on Facebook.
It wrote: "As many are aware at this moment, we have been informed of Dr. Ramesh Peramsetty’s passing. The Peramsetty family ask for us to give them privacy as they grieve his passing. They have received abundant out pouring of love and faith."
"We will continue to honor him as he would want us to do. Thank you for your understanding," the statement further said.
In a separate post, Crimson Care team said: "Please continue to keep the Peramsetty and Crimson Care Network family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this challenging time. Our team is prepared to make more statements within the next few days. We will continue to honor his legacy. Our clinics remain open during the transition."
His patients mourned the death of the doctor and expressed their tributes in the comment section.
