Uttar Pradesh: 11-year-old speech and hearing impaired girl brutally raped, accused nabbed
Rampur/IBNS: An 11-year-old speech and hearing impaired girl was brutally raped in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur, in another shocking incident of assault on women, media reports said.

The family members of the girl were looking for her after she went missing on Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday morning, she was discovered in a field in a naked and injured state.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital which had referred her to Meerut for better treatment.
The accused, who has been identified as 24-year-old Dan Singh, was nabbed after police scanned CCTV footage.
Singh, a resident of the same village, opened fire when police tried to nab him. The accused was injured in his leg in a retaliatory firing by police.
Dr. Anju Singh, who conducted the girl's medical examination, did not rule out a rape incident by more than one person owing to multiple injuries on her private parts and said the victim was hit with a blunt object on face.
