Vikram Misri discusses regional, global issues with Russian Deputy FM
Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri recently visited Moscow to participate in bilateral Foreign Office Consultations with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko when they shared perspectives on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement: "Both sides took stock of progress on implementation of decisions taken at the 22nd Annual Summit held in Moscow in July 2024, the meeting in Kazan on the sidelines of the 16th BRICS Summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin, the 25th session of the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation held in New Delhi in November 2024, and other high level engagements."
During the visit, Foreign Secretary also held meetings with Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian Presidential Executive Office; Yury Ushakov, Aide to the Russian President; and Alexey Gruzdev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
The last round of Foreign Office Consultations was held in New Delhi in November 2023.

The meeting took place amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Russian missile strikes eastern Ukraine
At least 14 people were killed and 37 wounded after the Russian forces launched a missile attack on the eastern city of Ukraine, Dobropillia, media reports said.
Apart from the missile, the Russian forces launched the attack with ballistic missiles, multiple rockets and drones.
Eight multi-storey buildings and 30 vehicles were damaged by the strike, Reuters reported.
