Woman who honey-trapped Burger King murder victim seen at Jammu Kashmir's Katra Railway Station
New Delhi: The woman accused of honey-trapping a 26-year-old man, who was fatally shot at a Burger King outlet in Delhi, was seen at Katra Railway Station in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, media reported.
Anu, also known as "Lady Don" in her gang circle, was captured by security cameras carrying her luggage at the station, with her face hidden by a scarf, reported NDTV.
According to sources, she boarded a Mumbai-bound train around 10 am that day, as also seen in CCTV footage showing her scurrying towards the train, said the report.
Police sources revealed that Anu, a close aide of wanted gangster Himanshu Bhau, was involved in the honey-trapping Aman Joon and luring him to the Burger King outlet in Rajouri Garden on the night of Tuesday (June 18), where he was shot down, according to the report.
Anu, who hails from Haryana’s Rohtak, has a criminal history. Police have launched a manhunt to locate her.
According to the FIR registered in the case, a total of 38 bullets from three different types of firearms were fired at Aman Joon inside the fast-food outlet, indicating the use of more than two weapons by the two shooters.
Earlier, security camera footage showed Anu sitting with Aman when the gunmen began shooting.
More CCTV footage revealed Anu travelled from GTB Nagar Metro Station to Rajouri Garden and took the metro from Rajouri Garden to Shakurpur Metro Station after the murder.
Aman's body was discovered behind the billing counter, indicating he tried to escape his perpetrators when the shooting started.
Himanshu Bhau, who is believed to be in Portugal, claimed responsibility for the murder in a social media post, describing it as a "revenge killing."
Bhau, whose gang operates throughout Delhi and Haryana, is known for extortion and is an aide of jailed gangster Neeraj Bawana. He fled the country in 2022, according to a police officer.
