YouTuber arrested for uploading shocking child abuse videos online
The Cyber Crime Police of Hyderabad have arrested a YouTuber for creating, uploading, and circulating child sexual abuse content online.
The accused, identified as Kambeti Satya Murthy, is a 39-year-old resident of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Murthy ran a YouTube channel called “Viral Hub”, where he allegedly uploaded videos featuring interviews with minors aged 15 to 17, NDTV reported.
According to reports, Murthy asked the minors obscene questions and, in one video, even instructed two children to kiss each other.
The Cyber Crime Police registered a suo motu case on October 16, 2025, after noticing child abuse–related videos circulating on the channel, Deccan Chronicle reported. Technical analysis revealed that the content violated child protection and cyber laws.
Murthy is said to have been operating the YouTube channel since 2018.
