‘Beginning of another chapter’: Virgin River trailer tracks Mel and Jack’s new journey; series arrives on March 12
The seventh season of Netflix web series Virgin River will navigate Mel and Jack’s marital journey and their path to adoption, as revealed in the trailer unveiled by the makers on Monday.
The trailer opens with Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) joyfully informing her husband Jack (Martin Henderson) that “she wants us to be the parents of her baby.”
In a heartwarming moment, Mel tells Jack, “This is the end of one chapter and the beginning of another,” to which he replies, “Yes, it is.”
The trailer also hints at evolving dynamics and chemistry between Brady and Brie, as well as Doc and Hope, while Lizzie is shown embracing motherhood.
Season 7 of Virgin River is set to premiere on Netflix on March 12.
Produced by Reel World Management, Virgin River is based on the popular novel series by Robyn Carr.
Filmed in British Columbia, Canada, the series—set in the United States—first premiered on December 6, 2019.
Recap
The story follows Mel Monroe, a nurse practitioner and midwife, who leaves city life behind and moves to the remote Northern California town of Virgin River to work at a local clinic, hoping to heal from the grief of her husband’s untimely death.
Mel eventually falls in love with Jack Sheridan, a former U.S. Marine who owns a local pub and struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Despite expecting a quiet and simple life, Mel soon discovers that Virgin River is anything but.
Mel and Jack tied the knot in Season 6, the most recent installment currently available on Netflix.
