Indubala Bhaater Hotel was an emotional journey for me: Subhashree Ganguly
Kolkata/IBNS: After working in films for years, leading Bengali actor Subhashree Ganguly is now all set for her OTT debut, courtesy Debaloy Bhattacharya's upcoming web series on Hoichoi, Indubala Bhaater Hotel.
Subhashree plays the titular role in Indubala Bhaater Hotel, which is an adaptation from Kallol Lahiri's novel of the same name.

Speaking at the trailer launch of the series, Subhashree on Monday said, "Indubala Bhaater Hotel was a very emotional journey for me. The kind of bonding we co-actors shared in it is because of Indubala's story.
"Indubala will remain with me forever. This journey was very intense and sweet."

Throwing light on the challenges actors face in Tollywood, the actor added, "The way we work and excel in the Bengali industry despite various constraints is something for artistes working outside Kolkata to learn. In Tollywood, we have honesty and emotion, which always get reflected on the screen."
The trailer shows Indubala, who moved from East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) to Calcutta (now Kolkata) after marriage, finding solace in food and sharing her culture and love through food with the masses.

Her journey, her joys and sorrows promise to take the audience to an emotional roller coaster in the upcoming series.
Apart from Subhashree, Indubala Bhaater Hotel stars Angana Roy, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay in distinct roles.
Subhashree's maiden OTT project will premiere on Hoichoi on Mar 8.
