Luxury hotel, sudden death, famous father: Who was Victoria Jones, Tommy Lee Jones’ daughter found dead?
Victoria Jones, the daughter of Academy Award-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead at a hotel in California on New Year’s Day, according to media reports. She was 34.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Victoria was discovered inside the Fairmont San Francisco early Thursday morning.
A spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department said emergency crews responded to the luxury hotel at around 2:52 a.m. following a report of a medical emergency. Paramedics conducted an assessment at the scene and pronounced the individual dead, the spokesperson said.
The San Francisco Police Department confirmed that officers responded to the hotel at approximately 3:14 a.m. after receiving a report of a deceased person. Upon arrival, officers met with paramedics, who had already declared the adult female dead.
The exact cause of death has not yet been determined, and authorities have not released further details.
Victoria was born to Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.
She made her Hollywood debut in 2002 with Men in Black II and later appeared in One Tree Hill (2003) and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005).
According to a report by the New York Post, Victoria had encountered legal troubles earlier this year and was arrested at least three times.
