Not rich enough to buy Rs. 6 crore car like other actors: Rajkummar Rao on his financial status
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao, who is fresh from the massive success of Stree 2, has recently opened up about his financial status.
Rajkummar, who has been working in films for years, revealed he is still not in a situation to buy a car of an exorbitant amount.
The actor is also managing his finances with the deduction of EMIs that he is paying for buying his own house.
In an interview with Unfiltered with Samdish, Rajkummar said, "Honestly, I don't have as much money as people used to think I have. I don't have Rs. 100 crore."
"I have bought a house so I am paying off the EMI. It's not like I don't have money. But I don't have such an amount of money that I can buy a car of Rs. 6 crore just walking into a showroom."
The 40-year-old added that his financial status allows him to buy a car worth Rs. 20 lakh without any hesitation.
Rajkummar has primarily earned fame for his films Trapped, Newtorn, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Stree, Ludo.
The actor, whose Stree 2 co-starring Shraddha Kapoor has shattered various box office records earlier this year, is last seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
The film, where he romanced new Bollywood heartthrob Triptii Dimri, released in theatres on October 11.
