Zombies, chaos and comedy: Zorr brings Indian zombie madness to theatres on Feb 6
KSS Productions & Entertainment is gearing up for the release of its upcoming Hindi zombie horror-comedy movie Zorr, slated for a pan-India theatrical release on February 6.
Backed by an extensive nationwide distribution by UFO, the film marks a decisive step forward for the banner as it expands its footprint beyond regional cinema into mainstream Indian genre storytelling.
Produced by Kan Singh Sodha and directed by Gourab Dutta, Zorr presents a sharp blend of horror, comedy, action and social satire, firmly rooted in Indian urban behaviour and contemporary realities.
Set against the chaos of a sudden zombie outbreak in Delhi, the narrative unfolds within a high-rise building where a group of unlikely survivors confront fear, disorder and their own human contradictions, creating a gripping yet highly entertaining cinematic experience.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Rishab Chadha, Akash Makhija, Sonam Arora, Joy Sengupta, Prantika Das, Kavya Kashyap, Ricky Tewary, Sekhar Kanjilal and Vijai Singh, each contributing depth, humour and emotional nuance to a story that balances spectacle with character-driven storytelling.
Founder-Director of KSS Productions & Entertainment, Kan Singh Sodha has steadily carved a diverse creative journey spanning award-winning short films, Bengali and Hindi feature films, and notable acting performances, alongside a strong entrepreneurial background.
With Zorr, he ventures confidently into genre cinema, offering a distinctly Indian take on zombie storytelling—one that blends humour, irony and human emotion while retaining strong commercial appeal.
With Zorr, KSS Productions reinforces its commitment to bold, original and culturally resonant cinema, while carrying Bengal’s creative sensibility onto a powerful national theatrical platform.
