Vaibhav, the youngest player in the history of IPL, completed his century in only 35 balls powering Rajasthan to dominate the run-chase after Gujarat posted a formidable score of 209-4 in 20 overs.

Vaibhav, a southpaw from Bihar's Samastipur, scored 101 off 38 balls with the support of 7 fours and 11 sixes until a top class yorker by Gujarat bowler Prasidh Krishna dismissed him.

On a day the teenager stole the limelight, his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal, who too scored a half-century, stayed till the end as Rajasthan (212-2) chased down the target in only 15.5 overs.

Jaiswal, who remained unbeaten at 70 off 40 balls, and his skipper Riyan Parag (32 not out off 15 balls) finished the remainder of the task.

Prior to Vaibhav's carnage, Gujarat captain Shubman Gill scored 84 off 50 balls and wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler remained unbeaten at 50 off 26 balls for the visitors.
