ABRSM welcomed formation of the Eighth Pay Commission

The Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) has warmly welcomed the announcement by the Central Government regarding the formation of the Eighth Pay Commission.
ABRSM's National President, Prof. Narayan Lal Gupta, stated that teachers across the country, from school to higher education, had been eagerly awaiting this significant announcement. ABRSM had consistently raised this issue on various platforms and during meetings with the government. The positive decision taken by the Honorable Prime Minister is undoubtedly a vital step in the interest of teachers and employees.
ABRSM's National General Secretary, Prof. Geeta Bhatt, highlighted that the previous Pay Commission was implemented in 2016, and the Central Government's decision to uphold the tradition of forming a pay commission every ten years is commendable. This decision will provide relief and encouragement to both retired and serving teachers, as well as the entire employee community.
ABRSM expresses its gratitude to the Central Government and hopes that the Eighth Pay Commission will present recommendations that align with the broader interests of teachers and employees, considering inflation and other economic factors.
