In the indiscriminate assault at the spot, eight-year-old school student Amrit Sinha died on the spot, while his mother, Bijaya Sinha, collapsed on the ground with severe injuries with heavy bleeding.
Bijaya Sinha was immediately shifted outside the state for better treatment, and it is learned that her condition has improved slightly.
In connection with the incident, Churaibari police registered a case under No. 34/25 and sections 103(1)/118(2)/61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and started their investigation.
