Assam Rifles celebrates Rakhi with Agartala Cycloholics Foundation in a heartwarming civic-military event

In a touching celebration of Raksha Bandhan that highlighted unity, gratitude, and patriotism, 21 Sector Assam Rifles, Agartala, organized a special Rakhi festival in collaboration with Agartala Cycloholics Foundation on August 9, 2025.
ACF cyclists, including several female cyclists of the Agartala Cycloholics Foundation, embarked on a vibrant city ride across Agartala, culminating at the Assam Rifles Ground. The event aimed to express heartfelt appreciation and solidarity with the soldiers and officers of Assam Rifles.
Upon arrival, the cyclists participated in a Raksha Bandhan ceremony where they tied Rakhis to the brave men in uniform, symbolizing protection, respect, and a bond between civilians and the armed forces. Popular local content creators including Teesta Saha, Moumita Barman, Riya Das, Priya Das, Moon Barman, Annee Jamatia, Jayashree Debnath and Gopesh Debnath, Bicyle Mayor, BYCS & Founder Member of Agartala Cycloholics Foundation also graced the event and actively took part in tying Rakhis to the soldiers.
ADM Comdt. Gopa Kumar, 21 Sector Assam Rifles extended his warm wishes to all attendees and emphasized the importance of community engagement with the armed forces. He commended the spirit of the young cyclists and creators who took time to honor the soldiers.
Vaibhav Yadav, Executive Member of Agartala Cycloholics Foundation, delivered a heartwarming speech, expressing gratitude towards the soldiers for their selfless service.
The event stood as a beautiful reminder of the emotional and cultural threads that bind our nation, transcending uniforms and roles, celebrating the festival of Rakhi with renewed pride and unity.
