Assam Rifles conducts lecture for students on digital literacy

Assam Rifles organized an informative lecture for students of Assam Rifles Public School in Agartala on the occasion of International Student's Day on November 16th last. The session aimed to guide students on digital literacy in today's world and various aspects of Social Media platforms.
Assam Rifles through a press statement said the lecture provided detailed information on pros and cons of Social Media to students and various practices that they can undertake to mitigate overuse of these platforms. The lecture also harped upon the digital scams and online malpractices that the students might face, encouraging them to take correct measures that can help them to avoid online traps and also educate their peers and parents on the same. A total of 60 students participated in the event and gained experience in digital literacy.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing students to express their thoughts and receive further guidance on Digital well being. The effort by Assam Rifles was appreciated by school authorities and students which enhanced their knowledge and gave them a better understanding about Digital Literacy.
