Assam Rifles organizes skill development workshop for women

Assam Rifles organized a Skill Development workshop for women at Radhanagar in Tripura on Wednesday. In a creative initiative aimed at developing skills, the event attracted a diverse group of women eager to explore their artistic sides and learn new crafts.
The candle-making segment introduced participants to various techniques, including molding, and scent blending. Attendees learned about different types of wax, wicks, and fragrances, allowing them to produce personalized candles. The second part of the workshop focused on the art of gift wrapping. Participants were taught innovative wrapping techniques using various materials, from traditional paper to fabric and recycled materials. The workshop not only equipped women with practical skills but also facilitated exchanging ideas that encouraged collaboration.
A total of 10 women from local areas and 17 families of personnel participated in the workshop. The Skill Development Workshop was a resounding success, showcasing the power of creativity of women.
