Attack in CPI (M) meeting at Joynagar reflects their internal feud, Ramnagar MLA

A day after CPI (M) leaders were attacked during a meeting at bordering Joynagar area of Agartala under 7-Ramnagar assembly constituency, local MLA and Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder claimed that allegation made against BJP is totally false and the violence held due to CPI(M)’s internal conflicts.
He claimed that the CPI(M) was now facing rejection from the public, leading to infighting among their supporters and leaders.
Speaking with media persons, Majumder said that CPI(M) now a bankrupt party and people of the state rejected their ideology and politics of corruption and their internal rift wide open across the state.
He also alleged that CPI(M) workers were responsible for the attack on their leaders including West Tripura District Committee Secretary Ratan Das and senior party Subhasish Ganguly.
Majumder also won in the last by-election, where he defeated CPI(M) leader Ratan Das by over 18,000 votes and he got a huge margin with support of hundreds of CPIM and Congress workers, because they are witnessing the overall development during BJP’s regime.
