Body of a tribal youth recovered from a Panchayat office in Lembucherra, sparks tension
After recovery of a dead body of a tribal youth from backyard of a Panchayat office under Lembucherra police station of West Tripura district in mysterious condition, sparked tension on Tuesday morning in the entire area and large number forces were also deployed to defuse the tension.
Police sources said that on Tuesday morning, local villagers noticed a dead body of a youth with multiple injuries at the backyard of the Panchayat office and immediately informed the matter to police.
A big team of police led by SDPO(Mohanpur) Bijoy Sen rushed to the spot and with help of local villagers, they have identified the victim youth as Ajoy Debbarma (20), son of Samir Debbarma of Sankar Senapati Para villager under same police station, who was missing since Monday night.
Police immediately brought a team from the State Forensic Laboratory (SFL) and collected all evidence from the crime scene.
Police sources added that they have shifted the body to GB Hospital morgue for autopsy and after findings of post-mortem and forensic reports, they can clearly say the nature of the death. They also said that a specific case has been registered based on the complaints of the parents of victim youth and started investigation over the suspected murder.
