Body of an unknown youth recovered from MG Bazar in mysterious condition
An unknown body of youth recovered in mysterious condition in front of a footpath stall at MG Bazar area under East Agartala police station on Wednesday morning.
Police sources said that on Wednesday morning some local traders noticed that a youth was sitting at the front bench of a footpath stall in an unconscious mood and when they asked him to wake up, that youth did not respond to their calls.
Then, the traders informed the matter to police and police forces from MG Bazar town outpost immediately rushed to the spot. They noticed that the unknown youth sitting on the bench had already died.
Police brought the forensic team and after collecting all circumstantial evidence from the spot, shifted the body to GB Hospital morgue for autopsy.
During preliminary investigation and based on the statements of some local traders, police suspected that the youth might have died because of overdose of drugs.
However, they said that they cannot say the specific reason of the death till the findings of autopsy and forensic reports.
