BSF organizes weapons display show at Tripura University

Ahead of the 60th Raising Day of BSF, a Weapons Display Show was organized by BSF at Tripura University Campus in Agartala on Thursday. Prof Ganga Prasad Prasain, Vice Chancellor of Tripura University inaugurated the weapons show. In the event a large number of students and other people attended the weapons display show.
In the program, a documentary related to history of the BSF, its valour and national heritage was shown before the students and public. As part of the program, BSF Jazz band also staged musical performances drawing much attention from the audience, students and faculties.
A BSF statement said that the aim of the show was to appraise the future generation about the strength of the nation and at the same time to attract them to choose armed forces as their career.
In addition, several programs for students including border visit and live firing demonstration were also organized in North Tripura and Unakoti districts of the state on Thursday.
