Class-eleven girl student found in hanging at a hostel in Agartala

In a tragic incident, hanging body of a class-Eleven student recovered from Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Girls Hostel, near Agartala press club on Tuesday afternoon.
Police sources said that on Tuesday afternoon, some workers and electricians engaged in renovation works of the hostel hearing hue and cry rushed to the second floor of the hostel and found that one girl student with her school uniform hanging from the ceiling of the room.
They immediately informed the hostel authorities and police. Later, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the girl, identified as Richa Debbarma of Manu under Longtharai Valley subdivision of Dhalai district, who was a student of Class-Eleven at Budhjung Girls school of Agartala.
Police shifted the body to GB Hospital morgue for autopsy and started an investigation to unearth the mystery of her suicide.
