CM inaugurates personalized adaptive learning Labs in 210 Schools
Schools to ease academic pressure, promote healthy culture: CM
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday said that every child is born with different talents in their own field and these talents need to be developed by providing appropriate education.
“Along with educating students in science-based subjects, they should also be instilled with a sense of originality and encouraged to take an interest in practicing the country’s own culture,” he said.
Dr Saha said this while inaugurating Personalized Adaptive Learning Labs simultaneously in 210 schools across the state at a function organized at Maharani Tulsibati Higher Secondary Girls' School in Agartala today.
Speaking at the function, the Chief Minister said that Swami Vivekananda stated that real education is about developing the inner knowledge of students and achieving perfection in learning.
“The state government has introduced the Personalized Adaptive Learning system in 210 government schools to connect students with the education system through modern technological methods. About 64 thousand students from these schools will benefit. This system is a landmark initiative for the state of Tripura in improving the quality of education. By introducing a science-based education system, the state government is establishing new colleges and universities to provide quality education and higher education opportunities to students. The state government aims to turn Tripura into an education hub,” he said.
The Chief Minister added that arrangements have also been made in schools to reduce students’ academic pressure and help them practice a healthy culture.
He said that the state government is working to modernize the education system in the tribal areas of the state as well.
While discussing the development of the education system in the state, Dr. Saha highlighted the implementation of projects such as the Super 30 Project, Nipun Tripura, Vidya Setu Module, Mission Mukul, Saharsh Karyam and etc.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the students of the state would benefit from the Personalized Adaptive Learning system launched today.
Secretary of the School Education Department, Dr. Milind Ramteke; Director of the School Education Department, N. C. Sharma; Director of SCERT, L. Darlong; and Principal of Maharani Tulsibati Girls' School, Sarbani Das, among others, were present at the event.
