CM met ailing Panchali Bhattacharjee

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Monday evening visited GB Hospital and met the injured wife of opposition leader Manik Sarkar to enquire about her health status.
Panchali Bhattacharjee, the wife of Manik Sarkar on December 17 evening met an accident on way to her residence at IGM Choumohani, when a Maruti car dashed the rickshaw from the back side, in which Mrs Panchali Bhattachajee boarded to reach her house. After the accident, she suffered critical head injuries and was admitted to the ICU unit of GB Hospital.
After the accident, the Chief Minister immediately instructed top health officials for necessary treatment and personally enquired about her treatment process.
On Monday evening, Dr Saha met her personally and interacted with her husband Manik Sarkar and neurosurgeon Dr Siddha Reddy.
Later, speaking with media persons Dr Saha said that Mrs. Bhattacharjee is stable now and she is out of danger. He also said that his family has a decades old relationship with Mrs Bhattacharee and her husband. Irrespective of political affiliations, they have years old personal relationship, said Dr Saha and wished for her speedy recovery.
