The death of convicted prisoner Pranab Kumar Paul (57), a resident of Camper Bazar area of AD Nagar of Agartala, has sparked several questions, with his family demanding a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.
According to family members, Pranab Kumar Paul, who was serving a jail sentence, was brought from Bishalgarh Jail to GB Hospital in a deceased condition. The incident has left his relatives shocked and suspicious, prompting them to seek a transparent and impartial probe into the matter.

While, relatives and neighbours of the deceased prisoner alleged that he was physically complet fit man and he does not have comorbidities . On Thursday last, his wife met him inside the Bishalgarh central jail, then Pranab Kumar Paul never raised any point of his ailment.
They suspected that some foul-play was held inside the jail premises and jail authorities informed the victim's family after the death of Pranab Kumar Paul.
They also alleged that some mysterious act had been committed on him inside the jail and the family reiterated their demand for an impartial probe over the unnatural death of the deceased man.
