CPI (M) releases campaign list for East Tripura with more rallies to woo voters

Giving maximum efforts with comparison to high voltage campaign by ruling BJP, the opposition CPI (M) has also given emphasis at East Tripura Lok Sabha seat and on Tuesday released a detailed campaign list with its star campaigners to woo the voters of East Tripura.
While, the party contesting the Lok Sabha elections as part of INDIA alliance and party has fielded and keep faith on state leadership for campaign in the seat except in one occasion, where CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury will address an election rally at Khowai assembly constituency on April 23 next. The polling for the East Tripura ST reserved seat will be held in the second phase of 7 phases of LS elections on April 26.
As per the star campaigner list of CPI(M) for East Tripura seat, all senior leaders of the Tripura unit of the party including former Chief Minister and politburo member Manik Sarkar, leader of opposition (LoP) and CPI(M) state secretary Jitendra Chaudhury, tribal leaders like Naresh Jamatia, Radhacharan Jamatia, Aghore Debbarma, convener of Tripura Left Front committee, Narayan Kar, Pabitra Kar, Rama Das, Sudhan Das, Amitabha Datta, youth leader Amalendu Debbarma, former ministers Tapan Chakraborty and Ratan Bhowmik.
CPI(M) has also released a campaign list for West Tripura seat, where the party is supporting Congress candidate Ashish Kumar Saha. As per the list for West Tripura, the party has fielded leaders like Manik Sarkar, Manik Dey, Jitendra Chaudhury, Naresh Jamatia, Narayan Kar, Roma Das, Ratan Bhowmik and Radhacharan Debbarma.
