Gymnast Dipa Karmakar honoured as brand ambassador of Longtharai
International Gymnast Dipa Karmakar had been appointed as the Brand Ambassador of Longtharai Spices; Managing Director of the company Ratan Debnath announced this during a press conference held at Agartala press club on Friday.
The Longtharai brand on Friday nominated her as an important member of their family and welcomed her as its brand ambassador.
Speaking in the press meet, Ratan Debnath said that ‘a talent born in the bosom of Tripura, whose perseverance, desire to fulfill her dreams, and relentless efforts have brought Tripura international glory is Dipa Karmakar, the beloved daughter of the state, who has risen from small Tripura to win medals for India on the world stage.’
Longtharai, which started its journey from Tripura and is moving forward to reach the international level beyond the borders of the country, is a reflection of Dipa's journey, said Debnath and added that embracing the quality and tradition of the soil of Tripura, Longtharai has established itself as a trusted brand today.
During the press meet, internationally acclaimed gymnast Padma Shri Dipa Karmakar and her mentor, Dronacharya awardee Coach Bishweshwar Nandi were present and were felicitated. Longtharai's Chairman and Managing Director, Ratan Debnath, and General Manager Subrata Debnath along with other company officials were present during the announcement of their brand ambassador.
