Speeding bike dashed an e-rickshaw, school teacher died in Khowai

In a tragic road mishap, a school teacher died on the spot, when a speeding motorbike dashed an e-rickshaw from the back side at Dhalabil area of Khowai district on Thursday morning.
Police sources said that the school teachers, identified as Arati Das (57) soon after completing a few personal official works at the Chief Medical officer (CMO) of Khowai district at Dhalabil area, she boarded in an e-rickshaw to reach her destination.
But, all of sudden , a speeding motorbike dashed at the back portion of the e-rickshaw, as a result, Arati Das threw away in the middle of the road and her head smashed due to a severe collision with the surface of the road. Immediately, local people shifted to Khowai district, where a visiting doctor declared her brought dead.
While, police registered a case and started an investigation to arrest the accused bike rider. Police added that both the bike rider and e-rickshaw driver escaped from the spot after the accident.
