A wave of tension gripped the bordering village Bin Para of Lankamura, on the outskirts of Agartala on Friday afternoon , when an Indian farmer got a suspected Bangladeshi drone on his sugarcane field.

Soon after detection of a China-made drone with a sophisticated camera and big battery, a terrified farmer along with a drone rushed to his home and informed the police.

Police rushed to the spot and recovered the suspected drone. Police authorities are investigating whether the object was a military drone or any drone used by farmers, deepening concerns along the volatile frontier.

After the recovery of the drone, made in China, tension gripped the villagers. So far, police and Border Security Force (BSF) did not make any comment over the recovery of the suspected drone.
